Terms of service

Last updated: July 3, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the Busso Jerky website and your purchase of products from us. By using this site or placing an order you agree to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. About us
Busso Jerky operates from Unit 2, 14 Queen Street, Busselton WA 6280. You can contact us at bussojerky@gmail.com or 0472 626 865.

2. Products
We sell perishable food products including air-dried and fresh meat products, and pantry items. Product images are illustrative; as our products are handmade in small batches, appearance, cut and exact weight within a stated range may vary between batches. Weights shown are packed weights.

3. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to purchase. We accept your order when we send an order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order where a product is unavailable, where there is a pricing or listing error, or where we reasonably suspect fraud. If we cancel an order we will refund any amount you have paid in full.

4. Pricing and payment
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed. Payment is processed at checkout through our payment providers. We do not store your full card details.

5. Shipping
Our dried and pantry ranges ship within Western Australia. Shipping rates and free-shipping thresholds are shown at checkout. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees; once an order is with the carrier, delivery times are outside our direct control, although we will always help you chase a wayward parcel. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery to your address.

6. Fresh products and local pickup
Fresh products are available for local pickup from our Busselton shop only and cannot be shipped. Pickup orders must be collected within the timeframe confirmed to you. See our Refund Policy for what happens with uncollected orders. Risk in pickup products passes to you on collection.

7. Subscriptions
Subscription products renew automatically at the frequency you select, at the discounted price shown, until you cancel. You can skip, pause or cancel at any time before the next billing date through your account. We will notify you in advance of any price change to an active subscription.

8. Food safety and allergens
Our products are made in a facility that handles meat, spices, gluten, soy, dairy and other allergens. Ingredient and allergen information is provided on product pages and packaging; if you have a food allergy, read the label before consuming and contact us with any questions before ordering. Store products as directed on the packaging. Fresh products must be refrigerated promptly after collection.

9. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate contact and delivery information; we are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrectly supplied address.

10. Intellectual property
All content on this site, including the Busso Jerky name, logo, images and text, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be used without our written permission.

11. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose, including placing fraudulent orders.

12. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, and subject always to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, our liability for any claim arising out of your use of the site or purchase of products is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this site at the time you place an order applies to that order.

14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
